Projects

I cofounded a startup. Our initial offering was TimeMyLife, a service that automatically tracks your time and categorizes into projects. I have moved on to other projects, and sadly it appears my cofounder has too.

On the Quantified Tortoise blog I capture measurements, experiments, anecdotes, and—of course—adorable photos of my Hermann's tortoise.

This was essentially a self-designed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy experiment to reduce social, and especially performance, anxiety. The official experiment only ran from 2008 to 2009, but it has had far-reaching and lasting effects.

I created an open source project, Project Wednesday, to provide visual analytics of your instant message activity. It was originally released on Google Code, so the project materials are no longer available, as Google Code was shut down. I intend to revive the idea in a more modern mode when I find the time.
